Independent real estate strategy consultant Forworx has been hired by LeasePlan Luxembourg to provide a study analyzing its office space needs between now and 2015.

LeasePlan, the world leader in fleet management, underwent a thorough analysis of its specific office space requirements: investigation, measurement, and a full audit of the building were used to develop a management program meeting its needs. The program was designed with LeasePlan's commercial plans and environmental considerations in mind - and taking into account both internal and external traffic flows.

The building, located in Leudelange, has been redesigned and improved, adding a floor of office space. Everything has been planned: the management of vehicle and visitor flows, acoustics and brightness, areas for informal meetings designed to promote interaction between departments, etc.. Work on the building started in early June 2012 and ended in the first quarter of 2013.

LeasePlan is a Dutch financial institution specialized in fleet management. Since its establishment in 1963, the company has experienced steady growth to become the world leading provider of fleet management services. LeasePlan is owned by Volkswagen Bank GmbH (50%) and Fleet Investments B.V. (50%), an investment company owned by the German banker Friedrich von Metzler.

LeasePlan Luxembourg was founded in 1989 and has since developed into the reference on the Luxembourg market, achieving a market share of over 20% within 20 years of existence. With 70 employees, LeasePlan Luxembourg today manages a fleet of some 7,000 vehicles.
